Rivian's electric van is now open for purchase by commercial businesses, marking the end of the company's exclusivity deal with Amazon. Previously, Rivian was contracted to supply 100,000 electric delivery vans to Amazon, but with only 20,000 delivered, the automaker is expanding its sales strategy. Now, businesses of all sizes can integrate Rivian’s zero-emission vans into their fleets, contributing to more sustainable transportation solutions.

The Rivian Commercial Van (RCV) is available in two models: the 'RCV 500,' and the 'RCV 700.' While the vans cannot be used for personal purposes, businesses can purchase anything from a single unit to large-scale fleet orders. The company has already tested its vans with major fleet operators like AT&T, ensuring high performance and operational efficiency for commercial users.

Expanding access to Rivian's electric van not only supports businesses in reducing their carbon footprint but also enhances Rivian’s financial outlook. With the ability to sell software subscriptions and services alongside the vans, Rivian is creating a sustainable and profitable model in the rapidly growing electric vehicle industry.
