RecycLiCo is Improving Battery Recycling with Zenith Chemical

This collaboration involves a significant investment of US$25 million to build a new plant in Taiwan, which will have an annual capacity of 2,000 metric tons of lithium-ion battery recycling. The updated facilities will leverage RecycLiCo's advanced recycling process and Zenith's existing infrastructure and resources, enhancing the efficiency and scalability of battery recycling operations.
The partnership between RecycLiCo and Zenith Chemical is expected to validate and optimize RecycLiCo's innovative recycling process, which focuses on recovering high-nickel cathode precursors and lithium chemicals. This process not only supports the circular economy by repurposing valuable materials from spent batteries but also contributes to reducing the environmental impact of battery waste.
