Ocean Vinyl by Havas London & Sharp's Brewery is Made with Plastic

Havas London x Sharp's Brewery collaborated to create Ocean Vinyl along with Mercury Prize-nominated musician Nick Mulvey, introducing a first for the music industry—a playable record made with recycled plastic. The song itself, In the Anthropocene, was inspired by the Atlantic Ocean and proceeds go towards supporting the marine conservation charity Surfers Against Sewage.

As the vinyl record is crafted from collected plastic, it boasts a multi-colored aesthetic that reflects the waste that often ends up littering beaches and threatening ocean life. The record transforms plastic pollution into a positive product that powerfully raises awareness about the need to change the way products are consumed and handled at the end of their life to better support all aspects of the environment.

The track can be streamed on digital platforms and purchased online as a limited-edition piece.
