The modular student residence at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU), known as the Lee Shau Kee Student Residence Village, is recognized as the largest of its kind globally by bed space. Developed in collaboration with "Gammon Construction Limited and CIMC Modular Building Systems (CIMC MBS), this innovative project leverages modular construction to deliver sustainable and high-quality housing for students."

Each module, including student rooms, shared spaces, hallways, restrooms, and plant rooms, was pre-constructed off-site and assembled efficiently on campus. This approach significantly reduced construction time and waste while ensuring consistent quality throughout the project.

CIMC MBS utilized advanced digital tools, including project management and quality monitoring systems, to oversee the entire process. These technologies enabled "real-time tracking of production, transportation, and installation," ensuring a smooth workflow and delivering a sustainable and efficient housing solution.
