Contemporary Sustainable Mobile Homes

IAAC Designs the MO.CA (MOBILE CATALYST) Mobile Home

IAAC, which stands for the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia created the MO.CA (MOBILE CATALYST) project. This design notion forms a mobile home that is made using natural materials and is backed by progressive digital construction processes as a step that builds on eco-friendly living solutions.

The MO.CA (MOBILE CATALYST) project was developed by a team of researchers and students in the master's program in Advanced Ecological BUildings and Biocities at IAAC. The project is more than a mobile home, but also something that sets the design tone for the future. It uses 100% sustainably harvested wood that is sourced locally to represent traditional craftsmanship blended with modern innovation. It is comfortable for two individuals to relax and enjoy.
