Wiki World & Advanced Architecture Lab work together on the Sprite cabin, which is a sustainable crafted structure located in the Fragrant Lake of Huanggang City, China. It is nestled right by the Inner Lake Peninsula within a charming forest.
It is designed with a focus on reducing the environmental impact defined by its crystal-style structure that is packed with three peaked volumes. These create a cozy and modern language that appears like a hut. Mu Wei, Founder of Wiki World notes, “The design of the Sprite Cabin is inspired by the idea of crystals, In nature normally we can’t find artificial-like shaped geometries. But crystals are very special.” Notably, the cabin is made without creating any damage to the woodland.
