Mushroom-Based Meat Alternatives

Meati, a new startup meat alternative brand, announced its official partnership with Top Chef host Tom Colicchio ahead of the brand's market launch. Colicchio took to Instagram to announce the official partnership, offering first-taste bundles to his followers of Meati's vegan products.

The non-meat company is set to launch its products to market in 2022. Meati offers consumers mycelium-based meat alternatives. The mushroom protein acts as a scalable and sustainable solution to democratize whole food nutrition.

"As a chef, I have a keen eye for seeking out new ingredients and innovations that deliver on quality and taste, and I’m equally as passionate about finding products with the potential to deliver whole nutrition in an equitable and sustainable way," as Colicchio explains in regards to Meati.
