Upcycled Beer Products

Maxim’s Group has announced a new collaboration with 7-Eleven to launch Coffee BOB, a craft beer made from upcycled coffee grounds obtained from the daily operations of 7CAFÉ, the brand's own coffee chain.

In this partnership, Maxim's utilizes leftover products from its facilities to produce a distinctive canned beer. Coffee BOB, 'Bottle of Bread,' represents a significant advancement in Maxim’s journey toward a circular economy. This craft beer series substitutes traditional barley with surplus bread and crusts, highlighting the potential for waste reduction in food production.

The new focus on sustainable operations has led 7-Eleven to upcycle 3.5 tonnes of bread and 300 kilograms of coffee grounds, resulting in innovative offerings such as the pale ale Original BOB and the coffee-infused stout Coffee BOB.
