The 'RISE & WIN Brewing Co.' in Tokushima, Japan is producing a sustainable beer that produces zero-waste. The new brewery and restaurant has devised a way to produce an eco-friendly product that does not compromise style or substance.
Tokushima is located in southeastern Japan and it is considered a 'zero-waste town.' Each resident must adhere to a strict garbage separating system, which contains 34 different categories of refuse. When the municipality receives the separated garbage, it is able to recycle a large enough portion to qualify as a waste-free city. The RISE & WIN Brewing Co. follows this example by producing sustainable beer and zero-waste food. Even the brewery building itself is made from recycled materials and natural decorations.
Though RISE & WIN Brewing Co. largely focuses on beer, it also sells eco-friendly household products such as shampoo, pasta and BBQ sauce.
