PFAS-Free Automotive Components

Maneta Launched its 'Shim' Line with 70% Reduced Emissions

The new Shim line from Maneta aims to improve sustainability efforts in automotive components. Launched in January 2025, this product line is designed to reduce carbon emissions by up to 70%. The shims are 100% PFAS-free and made almost entirely from low-emission materials, aligning with the European Green Deal's requirements. By re-engineering each component and sourcing renewable, biodegradable, or recycled materials, Maneta has successfully minimized the carbon footprint while maintaining high performance.

Maneta's commitment to sustainability is evident in this innovative product line, which sets a new industry standard for environmental responsibility. The company aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2039, and this new Shim line is a significant step towards that goal. The engineering team's meticulous approach ensures that every layer and component is fine-tuned to reduce emissions without compromising on quality. This initiative underscores Maneta's leadership in driving the automotive industry towards a more sustainable future.
