Sustainable Synthetic Lubricants

OQ Chemicals Introduces a New Bio-Balanced Synthetic Lubricant

OQ Chemicals has unveiled OxReduce L7-NPG, a bio-balanced synthetic lubricant ester that merges sustainability with high performance. This low-viscosity solution is designed to cut carbon emissions and offers a greener alternative to its fossil-based counterpart, Oxlube L7-NPG.

Crafted under the ISCC PLUS certification, OxReduce L7-NPG is made from renewable, palm oil-free feedstocks, with up to 84% of its carbon content sustainably sourced.

The lubricant is tailored for diverse applications. Its standout features—such as low viscosity, a high flash point, and a non-toxic profile—meet rigorous global standards, including the Vessel General Permit (VGP) for marine use.

“Our certified biobalanced products, such as OxReduce L7-NPG, enable customers to enhance their sustainability efforts. They also help meet regulatory requirements while maintaining high performance,” said Dr. Claudia Fischer, Director of Global Business Development, OQ Chemicals.
