Spanning 35,000 square feet, the facility is designed to support the sustainable growth of electric vehicles by offering advanced battery repair, recycling, and energy storage solutions. A key feature is the innovative Battery Energy Storage System, which repurposes energy from used batteries, reinforcing circular economy principles and reducing waste.
With an investment of over £800,000, the EV Battery Hub is crucial in extending battery lifespans and addressing consumer concerns over EV battery longevity. It provides manufacturers, fleet operators, and dealerships with a scalable solution to manage end-of-life batteries while complying with strict government safety and sustainability standards. This initiative aims to improve public confidence in EV technology by offering greater transparency in battery health and recycling processes.
