Autotrader Provides EV Battery Health Scores on Its Used EV Autos

Autotrader, a Cox Automotive brand, recognizes this need through a new feature on its website — an EV battery health score that is designed to give consumers confidence and peace of mind when they are purchasing a used electric vehicle.
Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory estimates that modern EV batteries last between 12 to 15 years in moderate climates and between 100,000 to 200,000 miles. Brian Moody, executive editor for Autotrader, explains that: "Used EVs are the best kept secret in car buying since they offer cost savings, energy efficiency, government incentives, newer technology, and more."
