Cambium x La vague Introduced Reusable Containers

Cambium x La vague have introduced a new line of reusable containers aimed at enhancing waste reduction efforts in Quebec’s food industry. Launched during Quebec Waste Reduction Week (October 21-27), these containers are "designed to promote sustainable packaging practices through their customizable and reusable nature—manufactured entirely in Quebec, these containers reflect a commitment to local production and environmental responsibility."

In addition, La vague has "introduced ‘La boite 2.0,’ which is supported by the Government of Canada through the Chantier de l'économie social; this initiative operates on a deposit-based model, similar to ‘La tasse,’ already implemented in over 450 businesses across Quebec." Specifically, customers pay a deposit upon receiving a container, which is refunded upon its return to any participating establishment. Furthermore, the returned containers are cleaned and recirculated, thereby encouraging a shift towards reusable packaging solutions and significantly reducing single-use waste.
