The amount of packaging that's created is continuing to create concern on a global scale, which is seeing new reusable product packaging initiatives like this one from PepsiCo and Loom come about. The partnership pilot project is being offered in Paris and consists of the Quaker Cruesli Chocolat Noir and Tropicana Orange Juice products. Each one is packaged in reusable containers that are collected after consumption to be cleaned and reused to eliminate packaging that's simply disposed of.

The new reusable product packaging pilot project was explained by General Manager at PepsiCo France Bruno Thevenin who said, "The Loop system really is about testing a possible model for reinventing packaging, which is a key area of focus for PepsiCo as we look to reduce, reuse and rethink our plastic packaging. Loop is exciting because it overcomes some of the challenges of reusable containers, making them more convenient and conducive to modern living."
