Sustainable Framework Developments

AA REIT is progressing smoothly in its sustainability journey with the launch of Phase 2 of its rooftop solar panel installation across three properties in Singapore. The new system, which will generate a total capacity of 3.65 MWp, is expected to significantly reduce the organization’s carbon footprint, helping to avoid nearly 2,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. This initiative is part of the REIT’s commitment to environmental responsibility and its efforts to build a more sustainable and resilient portfolio.

The rooftop solar panels align with AA REIT’s long-term objectives outlined in its Science-based Target initiative (SBTi). Beyond solar energy, AA REIT is also investing in additional sustainable technologies. These include installing smart lighting systems designed to optimize energy usage and the development of EV fast-charging stations at its properties, further supporting the company's green transition.

These projects reflect REIT's goal to reduce scope 2 carbon emissions by 42% from 2020 to 2030, effectively mitigating climate impact.
