Sustainable Facility Acquisitions

AgriFORCE is Acquiring a Sustainable Energy Bitcoin Facility

AgriFORCE Growing Systems Ltd., a technology-driven company committed to sustainable innovation, recently signed a Letter of Intent to acquire a 5MW Bitcoin mining facility in Madison Township, Ohio. The facility is powered by sustainable energy, aligning with AgriFORCE's mission to integrate innovative technologies that promote environmental stewardship while generating significant financial returns. The acquisition mirrors a similar strategy implemented in Sturgeon County, Alberta, Canada, where AgriFORCE optimized operations by repurposing heat and carbon offsets to support sustainable agribusinesses like premium crop cultivation and aquaculture.

David Welch, Chairman of AgriFORCE, emphasized the importance of addressing food insecurity in Ohio, noting that integrating carbon capture and heat reuse technologies with the cultivation of nutrient-dense foods can produce significant environmental and social benefits. By offsetting emissions from Bitcoin mining and contributing to food security, AgriFORCE aims to drive economic development in the region and provide communities with access to fresh, sustainable, and locally sourced food options. This approach demonstrates a replicable model for future growth, combining digital currency with sustainable solutions to address critical challenges in energy and food production.
