OPAL Fuels is revolutionizing waste management through its newest renewable natural gas (RNG) facility at the Polk County municipal landfill in Florida, marking its eleventh operational project nationwide. The facility boasts an impressive nameplate design capacity of 1.1 million MMBtu annually, equivalent to eliminating Scope 1 and 2 emissions from over 900 heavy-duty trucks. This strategic expansion demonstrates how landfill biogas can be effectively converted into pipeline-quality renewable natural gas, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional diesel fuel while creating value from municipal waste.

The project represents a significant milestone in OPAL Fuels' growth trajectory, as it becomes North America's largest publicly traded integrated RNG operator.
