CapitaLand recently launched its fourth CapitaLand Sustainability X Challenge (CSXC) during its new sustainability forum. The CSXC is a global platform aimed at advancing innovation and collaboration in sustainability within the urban environment. The challenge invites innovators worldwide to propose solutions that make urban environments more climate-resilient and resource-efficient. Selected participants have the opportunity to pilot their innovations at CapitaLand properties across more than 260 cities in over 40 countries, with funding support to cover the costs of test bedding these solutions.

The fourth edition of the CSXC focuses on several key areas, including low carbon transition, water conservation, waste management, and construction decarbonization. By addressing these critical sustainability challenges, CapitaLand aims to drive significant advancements in sustainable urban development. The challenge also emphasizes collaboration with tenants, encouraging them to pilot CSXC innovations in their spaces to improve sustainability performance and create a more sustainable environment.

CapitaLand's commitment to sustainability is further demonstrated by its efforts to engage with international innovators and subject matter experts. The company believes that fostering innovation is essential to achieving its sustainability targets and creating long-term value for its investors and communities. Through the CSXC, CapitaLand continues to support and scale impactful sustainability solutions, contributing to the global effort to combat climate change and promote sustainable development.
