Recycled Plastic Juice Bottles
Naked Has Launched 100% Recycled Bottles to Reduce New Material Use
Michael Hemsworth — August 28, 2020The Naked smoothie brand has announced it is now offering its products in 100% recycled bottles in a bid to help reduce its reliance on new plastic materials. The bottles come as a more sustainable packaging option that are available for Spar, Nisa and Booker customers in the UK to pick up now. The new initiative will be communicated to consumers thanks to a marking on the label that touts its recycled profile.
The Naked 100% recycled bottles were explained further by Senior Marketing Manager at PepsiCo Charlotte Ashburner who said, "We know consumers are looking for ways to make a positive difference by supporting brands that address causes they care about and that they remain mindful of the impact of plastic usage on the environment. We’re really proud to announce that Naked is the only current juice/smoothie brand in grocery retail that uses bottles made from 100% recycled plastic, a material that can easily be recycled. Our new bottles mean that smoothie drinkers can act in a more sustainable manner, whilst also enjoying delicious smoothies with a fruit boost throughout the day.”
