Highly Sustainable Water Packaging

The Boxed Water Is Better packaging has been boasted by the packaged water brand to now contain 92% plant-based components, which comes as the highest rate ever achieved in the industry. The packaging is achieved with paper derived from sustainable forests and recycled programs, but now also features a plant-based cap made from FSC-certified trees that are used for bioenergy and pulp. This is reported to help further enhance the product's recyclable profile and help to further distance the brand from plastic alternatives.

CEO of Boxed Water Daryn Kuipers spoke on the Boxed Water Is Better packaging saying, "Recycling efforts can no longer keep up with the world’s plastic production, and the shift toward plant-based products is critical for our planet’s wellbeing. Our product is almost entirely plant-based, and we are proud to have the highest sustainable content in the water category, at about 92%.”
