Moreover, BtrBtl is fully recyclable, but if placed in the trash or diverted from the recycling stream, the cutting-edge plastic will biodegrade over 30 percent after the first year in commercial landfill conditions—meaning consumer do not have to change their behaviors in order to offer a significant improvement to the end-of-life of the packaging. This is especially useful in combating the plastic pollution crisis, as according to recent survey, over 90 percent of plastic waste ends up in landfills, regardless of proper recycling.
