A new biodegradable bottle design has been announced by Chlorophyll Water that will enable the brand to eliminate the occurrence of pollution, reduce its creation of greenhouse gas emissions and more.

The bottles are crafted with a proprietary organic additive that will actually help to accelerate the natural biodegradation process when placed in biologically active landfills and even anaerobic digesters. This additive works to attract microbial activity, which will consume it and excrete enzymes that break down the packaging. The bottles are 100% recyclable, nontoxic and BPA-free.

The Chlorophyll Water biodegradable bottle is intended to be recycled, but will break down if it ends up in a landfill to further increase the eco-friendly profile of the packaging.
