Biodegradable Honey Packaging

Decomer is a new startup that aims to eliminate plastic use with its sustainable packaging solutions. Its most recent project is called Honeydrops and replaces plastic packets with water-soluble packaging. The packaging solution is biodegradable and is specially designed for making honey consumption easier for those that mix it with their beverages.

A healthier alternative to processed sweeteners, honey is becoming more readily available across major coffee retailers. While most coffee brands rely on portable honey packets that are made from plastic, Decomer offers an eco-friendly alternative with its capsule-like packaging.

Honeydrops boast a material that is "unique in that it’s soluble at a variety of water temperatures.
