The New Domestos Bottle Has 50% Post-Consumer Recycled Plastic

A new Domestos bottle is being launched into the UK market as part of a shift that will reduce the use of virgin plastic without losing sight of product quality. The brand is making the shift to bottles made with 50% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR) for its 750ml bleach range, which is projected to save 1,505-tonnes of virgin plastic on a yearly basis. The bottles are positioned as strong and durable, while also capable of being easily recycled via curbside collection.
Home & Hygiene Category Lead, Unilever UK&I Claire Racklyeft spoke on the new Domestos bottle saying, "Domestos has been protecting households against germs for over 90 years, and now we’re looking at how we can do this in a more sustainable way by tackling plastic waste too."
