Collaborative Solar Initiatives

VEON Ltd., a global digital operator, has partnered with Huawei to deploy 1,000 solar-powered sites across Pakistan through its digital operator, Jazz. This initiative leverages Huawei's iSolar technology to transition Jazz's telecom network infrastructure to sustainable energy. The solarization of these sites is expected to be completed within the coming months, significantly reducing energy costs by up to 96% at the solarized locations. This project aligns with Jazz's commitment to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and demonstrates the company's dedication to integrating sustainable energy solutions into its operations.
