JA Solar's DeepBlue 4.0 series represents a significant advancement in photovoltaic (PV) technology, featuring the company's innovative Bycium+ cells. The DeepBlue 4.0 series builds on the legacy of the previous DeepBlue models, offering enhanced power generation capabilities, minimized degradation, and improved performance under low irradiance conditions. The series includes modules with power outputs up to 650 W and efficiencies exceeding 22.5%, making them suitable for various applications, including residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects.

The Bycium+ cells are notable for achieving a record-breaking open-circuit voltage of 748.6 mV, certified by Germany's Institute for Solar Energy Research in Hamelin (ISFH). This milestone demonstrates the potential of tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) technology, which minimizes surface, bulk, and metal recombination losses. The Bycium+ cells also exhibit lower degradation, better temperature coefficients, and higher bifacial generation gains compared to conventional p-type modules.

JA Solar's commitment to technological innovation is evident in the DeepBlue 4.0 series, which integrates advancements in metallization, new materials, and processes to enhance PV cell efficiency. The company's focus on sustainability and high performance aims to drive the global transition to clean energy, contributing to the development of high-efficiency, cost-effective PV solutions.
