Working with Taiwanese partners, Billion Electric Group has set up solar power and battery storage systems in Palau, Tuvalu, and the Marshall Islands.

The project includes "495 kWp of solar panels and 1,997 kWh of battery storage, helping reduce reliance on imported fossil fuels; these microgrids provide stable renewable energy for farms, fisheries, and local communities, cutting carbon emissions by 800 metric tons annually." Aquaculture centers now get over 50% of their energy from renewables, while livestock farms, offices, and dormitories run entirely on clean energy, lowering costs and environmental impact.

Billion Electric Group handles everything from research to installation, and the project features Taiwan-made renewable technologies, including "Fusio series batteries, Giga series inverters, and an AI-powered Energy Management System (EMS)." This system optimizes power use, supports two-way energy flow, and allows remote monitoring, improving grid reliability. It also has a black start capability, letting diesel generators restart automatically during power outages.
