Canadian Solar will Outsource its Solutions to Australia

e-STORAGE, a division of CSI Solar Co., Ltd., a majority-owned subsidiary of Canadian Solar, has partnered with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) to provide battery energy storage systems for a major project in South Australia.

Through this agreement, e-STORAGE will "deliver a 240 MW/960 MWh storage system for the Summerfield project, which is set to begin construction in 2025; once completed, Summerfield will be one of the largest battery storage projects in the region."

As a leading provider of energy storage solutions, e-STORAGE will handle "engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, supplying over 200 SolBank 3.0 battery containers." Additionally, the company will manage the project’s long-term operations and performance. Moreover, with a strong team in Australia, e-STORAGE continues to expand its role in supporting large-scale energy storage projects.
