Imperial Announced a New MSc in Cleantech Innovation
Colin Smith — November 16, 2024Imperial College London has launched a new MSc in Cleantech Innovation, designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to drive sustainable technological solutions to climate change. The program, jointly delivered by the Dyson School of Design Engineering and the Grantham Institute – Climate Change and the Environment, focuses on themes such as energy, materials, manufacturing, water, transport, and food. Students will develop a deep understanding of the technical aspects of climate change challenges and work on innovative projects to create sustainable solutions.
The MSc in Cleantech Innovation emphasizes an entrepreneurial mindset, encouraging students to develop, launch, and manage cleantech innovations. The program includes individual and group components, such as videos, written work, invention, prototyping, and business planning. Students will collaborate with designers, engineers, and scientists to bring their cleantech solutions to life, benefiting from Imperial's extensive network of industry partners and academic experts. This program aims to produce future leaders in the cleantech industry, capable of making a significant impact on global sustainability efforts.
