ECO Canada and Mohawk College have announced a strategized partnership to strengthen workforce development in Canada's growing environmental sector. The partnership called the 'Centre for Applied Learning in Sustainability,' combines the expertise of both organizations to address the increasing demand for skilled professionals. Mohawk College will oversee "course development, delivery, and program management, while ECO Canada will offer National Occupational Standards, marketing support, and resources for certification and employment."

The initiative will provide a range of educational offerings, including "micro-credentials, certificates, and pathways to diplomas and bachelor's degrees." These programs are designed for both newcomers to the field and experienced professionals seeking to advance their skills. Additionally, the partnership will introduce new course curricula to meet the evolving needs of the environmental industry.
