Sustainability-Focused Employee Training
Estée Lauder Companies Highlights Sustainability Training
Kalin Ned — February 19, 2019In an effort to provide consumers and employees with quality products that are doused in luxury and subscribe to eco-conscious principles, Estée Lauder Companies emphasizes sustainability training.
The beauty business is one of the founding members of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC) which recently launched an online e-learning platform that offers opportunities for education and collaboration across industry sectors. In addition, Global Corporate Citizenship & Sustainability (GCCS) and Packaging did not only streamline the learning platform but also provided access to sustainability training with an educational in-person event that expanded on topics like "integrating sustainability into a brand, optimizing design, designing for recovery, sourcing sustainably and understanding how packaging fits into the larger picture of sustainability."
To take advantage of this and provide employees on every level of the business with the opportunity for improvement, the Estée Lauder Companies encourages the use of the SPC platform and assures its employees attend the relevant events.
