Nature-Conserving Brand Initiatives

Roots has announced a three-year collaboration with the Nature Conservancy of Canada, with the aim of protecting vital ecosystems across the country. This partnership aligns with both organizations' values — in particular, this initiative complements Roots' longstanding connection to nature, which has been central to its identity since its founding in 1973.

Initially, the focus of the Roots x Nature Conservancy of Canada collaboration will be on the Frontenac Arch Natural Area in Ontario, a highly biodiverse region that serves as a crucial habitat corridor for species such as black bears and moose. The collaboration will not only help protect Canadian habitats but also support broader conservation goals, such as preserving wildlife corridors and enhancing ecosystem resilience.

Roots' venture is complemented by other sustainability-driven initiatives like the Roots Cares program, which has contributed millions of dollars to various causes since 2020.
