Delta CleanTech Adapted Oilfield Technology to Capture CO2

Delta CleanTech is a Calgary-based clean energy company on a mission to capture CO2 emissions from oil, gas, and coal plants in Canada and across the world. Co-founders Jeff Allison and Lionel Kambeitz explain that "with a change in the market, CO2 becoming more talked about, and the development of the environmental, social governance movement, we decide to get financing to format public company that specializes in carbon capture."
Thus far, the Canadian company has raised $7.5 million to capture carbon from various industrial contributors. Delta offers a robust carbon-capturing technology. The company adapted oilfield technology to capture CO2 post-combustion. The exhaust is then stripped of 98 percent of the sulfur dioxide to produce 98 percent pure CO2 for use in other applications.
