Curated Environmental Resources

The 'Environmental Education Initiative' provides a curated collection of free resources designed to support K-12 classrooms in the exploration of environmental science. Developed in collaboration with Discovery Education, a global leader in educational technology, the initiative aims to "assist students in understanding environmental issues and making informed decisions to promote sustainable practices; it also encourages civic engagement by fostering active participation in environmental matters."

The initiative offers standards-aligned materials that cover a range of environmental topics. These resources include "videos, lesson plans, and student activities that explore subjects such as energy, forestry, and clean water while recent additions to the collection include video bundles focused on generational innovation, created in partnership with Nucor, Honeywell, and Subaru of America, Inc., along with six student-oriented activities supported by LyondellBasell." These resources provide a comprehensive and accessible approach to environmental education.
