Greenie is an innovative new environment app, developed by New Jersey-based company Micro Integration Services, that is designed to give people with an environmental conscience the tools, motivation and advice they need to join the fight against climate change.

Available as a free download for iOS devices, Greenie allows users to track the real-world impact of their energy-saving endeavors by letting them measure their carbon footprint, keep tabs on how much carbon dioxide they've helped eliminate and how much money they've saved in the process.

While there are plenty of environment apps out there that provide information and education, the difference with Greenie is the manner in which it offers actionable tools and tricks to help you see the fruits of your actions, motivating you to remain a consistent player on the battle against climate change.
