The 'Children's Environment Health Program' has received expanded support through an investment from the Clarios Foundation, which has doubled its contributions to UNICEF. This funding will enhance efforts to address global environmental challenges and improve the health of children, particularly those under five years old.

The program "works to protect 171 million children from the harmful effects of environmental degradation, toxic exposure, and climate change." It collaborates with national governments in low- and middle-income countries to prioritize children's environmental health, strengthen primary healthcare, and promote climate action. In addition, the program engages young people in environmental initiatives and fosters collective action through the 'Children’s Environmental Health Collaborative.' This "collaboration, co-founded with the UN Environment Programme and the World Bank, includes nearly 40 partners working together to improve children's health and create a safer, healthier future for all."
