ENC and InductEV have partnered to expand the availability of next-generation battery-electric buses in North America, providing transit operators with a wider range of advanced, energy-efficient solutions. This collaboration integrates InductEV’s high-power wireless charging technology into ENC’s electric bus lineup, eliminating range limitations and offering a cost-effective alternative to wired or pantograph-based charging systems.

This marks a significant milestone, as transit agencies now have access to a new and improved vehicle option—an essential advancement amid ongoing supply chain challenges and performance concerns affecting public transportation networks. By incorporating InductEV’s wireless inductive charging technology, ENC’s battery-electric buses can achieve seamless, efficient charging during regular operation, enhancing route flexibility and reliability. Municipal transit agencies across the United States, including fleets in Washington State, California, Oregon, Indianapolis, and Martha’s Vineyard, are already utilizing this technology in on-route and depot-based charging deployments, demonstrating its effectiveness in real-world transit environments.
