Sustainable Potato Cultivation Partnerships

Yara, a UK-based brand known for its fertilizer innovations, has officially partnered with potato supplier Branston to revamp the company's produce cultivation tactics by adopting sustainable principles. Under this deal, the duo will swap out its normal fertilizers with ones with a lower carbon footprint. Yara will specifically provide the potato company with a Lower Carbon Crop Nutrition Program to reduce the end product's carbon impact. It will also instate a potato crop nutrition support program to improve overall plant health. This is expected to enhance plant quality and boost crop yield, allowing the company to profit more while conserving the environment.

This program will be trialed at Branston's Lincolnshire location, with plans to integrate this solution across all its potato farms.
