Sustainable Potato Bags

Vee’s Marketing, Inc. is launching a new sustainable potato package for its ‘Brown Bag Potatoes.’ The new packaging is all-natural, 100% recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable, so consumers can enjoy their favorite vegetables without worrying about packaging waste that harms the environment. Brand owner Jason Vee claims that the paper keeps light out of the bag, preventing greening and encouraging the potatoes to stay fresh for extended periods. With their Brown Bag Potatoes, Vee and John Alstrup, a potato expert, had the idea to pioneer sustainable packaging in the food sector. Jason Vee claims that the brand’s sales have not been hindered by the biodegradable bag's slight premium.
