Compostable Fruit Snack Packaging

The Park2Natural compostable packaging from Parkside Flexibles is being used by the New Forest Fruit Company to provide consumers with a more eco-friendly product.

The packaging itself is capable of being composted at home within a 26 week period or 12 weeks if disposed of through an industrial composting facility. This will help to further reduce the carbon footprint of the fruit snack itself, which is in line with the New Forest Fruit Company's brand ethos.

Owner of New Forest Fruit Company Sandy Booth commented on the Park2Natural compostable packaging saying, "It was important to us that we found a company that could provide the compostable flexible packaging that had not only been tested and accredited but could also be designed to meet the specific needs of our strawberries."
