This fermented beverage concept has been introduced by Arla Foods Ingredients as a solution for combating waste and increasing the yield in the dairy industry. The drink makes use of upcycled acid or sweet whey, which boasts a protein content up to 8% to give it a nutrition-focused profile with a more sustainable edge. The drink also has Nutrilac whety proteins that provide a refreshing flavor and light texture, while also maintaining impressive heat stability when compared to standard milk and whey protein concentrates.
