Barry Callebaut is unveiling a new line of upcycled cacao fruit to reduce the amount of waste being produced from the cacao farming industry. This innovative offering is designed to bring versatility and value to a wide range of applications, including confectionery, ice cream, beverages, dairy products, and snacks.

Notably, this partnership taps the startup Cabosse Naturals to help transform the entire cacao fruit into valuable materials. By repurposing parts of the cacao fruit that are traditionally discarded, such as the pulp and peel, Cabosse Naturals transforms them into ingredients that enhance flavor, nutrition, and sustainability in food products.

This launch will allow Barry Callebaut to partner with relevant brands and enhance its marketing tactics to attract new audiences.
