Sustianable Chemical Packaging Innovations

At Printpack India 2025, UFlex Chemicals showcased its commitment to sustainability through innovative solutions in the printing and packaging industry. The company presented a range of UV and UV LED printing inks suitable for various applications, including sheetfed, narrow web, letterpress, screen, and web offset printing. These inks are designed to reduce energy consumption and lower carbon emissions compared to conventional UV lamps. Additionally, UFlex introduced water-based specialty coatings offering oil and grease resistance, heat sealing, and special effects properties, further emphasizing its focus on environmentally friendly solutions.

UFlex Chemicals also highlighted its water-based lamination adhesives for paper bags, rigid boxes, and mono carton applications. These adhesives are part of the company's broader initiative to develop sustainable packaging solutions that align with the 3Rs of sustainability: Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse. By switching to water-based solutions, UFlex aims to significantly reduce solvent emissions and energy consumption, contributing to a more sustainable future.
