Eco-First Packaging Films

Jindal Films Europe is Aiming to Release 3 Sustainable Products

Jindal Films Europe (JFE), a division of the B. C. Jindal Group, has recently launched three new sustainable products as part of its commitment to eco-friendly packaging solutions. These products include a new BOPE (bi-oriented polyethylene) film under the Ethy-Lyte portfolio, designed to replace PET films in lamination with PE sealants, and ultra-high barrier metalized films to replace aluminum foil. The company's efforts are aimed at creating recyclable and sustainable packaging materials that meet the evolving needs of the market while minimizing environmental impact.

In addition to product innovation, JFE is actively participating in industry-wide recycling initiatives and using recycled and renewable materials. The company's R&D investments have led to the development of multi-layer films with improved heat resistance, allowing for thinner films in customer processes like printing and sealing. JFE's commitment to sustainability extends beyond its products, as it also focuses on reducing its carbon footprint through energy-efficient manufacturing and waste reduction initiatives. The company's efforts underscore its role in driving sustainability for the industry and end consumers.
