Production responsibility is a key focus for PackUK, helping packaging professionals navigate new environmental regulations. PackUK aims to address this challenge by providing businesses with the support they need to adapt.

As part of its first public event, PackUK will host a session at Packaging Innovations & Empack 2025 this February at the NEC. This will be a chance for industry experts to connect and discuss the future of packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (pEPR) in the UK.

PackUK’s approach unites all four UK nations, shifting the cost of household packaging waste management from taxpayers to producers. This change encourages companies to take responsibility for sustainable packaging design and materials, driving innovation across the industry.
