The 'CSL OWL Subsea Rock Installation' (CSL OWL SRI), a partnership between The CSL Group (CSL) and Offshore Wind Logistics (OWL), is building two vessels for the offshore renewable energy sector. Each vessel will be equipped with "dynamic positioning (DP2) for accurate navigation and will operate on marine gas oil (MGO) and/or methanol, supporting the transition to zero-emission operations. Designed for flexibility, the vessels will provide efficient subsea rock installation services in offshore environments."

The vessels are capable of handling and installing rocks of varying sizes, with transport belts designed to manage large loads. Additionally, a "Tremie Pipe with motion compensation ensures precise rock placement, while excavators will assist with larger rocks." As such, CSL OWL SRI specializes in delivering safe, sustainable, and cost-effective subsea rock installation services. Based in Rotterdam, the company combines OWL’s offshore expertise with CSL’s proven track record in complex marine solutions.
