Used clothing platform Depop recently partnered up with British charity Oxfam for its #SecondhandSeptember campaign. The campaign "challenges consumers to refrain from purchasing brand-new stock for the entire month" and is reflective of both companies' core values.

With a huge Gen Z following and over 16 million members, Depop follows a sustainable business model, allowing users to buy and sell pre-loved clothing. Oxfam's main aim is to fight global poverty, with its efforts ranging from providing clean water to communities without it to collecting gently used clothing for those in need.

Oxfam has teamed up with recycling partner Wastesaver for its ‘Festival Shop’ page that will highlight and advertise a selection of donated garments. These garments will then be sold on Depop and can be accessed via a #SecondhandSeptember search.
