Textile recycler Recover is set to transform the industry with its new recycling facility in Vietnam, marking a pivotal expansion into the world's third-largest textile export market. This move follows a $100 million investment led by Goldman Sachs and strategic leadership from CEO Anders Sjoblom, formerly of H&M Group.

Scheduled to launch in early 2025, the facility will produce 10,000 metric tons of recycled material annually, focusing on 'RMix,' a proprietary cotton-polyester blend addressing the industry's challenge of recycling mixed fibers. Vietnam’s abundant post-industrial waste and polyester-cotton market make it an ideal location.

With sustainability at its core, Recover is partnering with major fashion brands to integrate premium recycled materials into mainstream production. Innovations like digital tracers for supply chain transparency and co-creations with designers aim to elevate consumer interest in sustainable fashion.
