Eco Sandwich Packaging

The challenge is enormous

The Coveris 'RecyclaLite' recyclable sandwich packaging is positioned for a Spring 2020 launch and is destined to help increase the sustainable profile of prepackaged lunchtime foods. Developed with recyclability in mind, the packaging has a thin film overtop of the laminated board material, which is intended to be easily peeled off to allow for easy access to the sandwich within. The film can be fully removed before recycling to maximize how much of the packaging can actually be recycled.
